When last we spoke, I was gearing up for this year’s Eastside Culture Crawl and getting ready to participate in a panel discussion for the event. For those of you who missed the informative talk, you can watch it here. I was also getting ready to shut down my studio, with hopes, but no guarantees, of finding a new space to move into. How did it go? Let’s put the picture into words:
I’m happy to say I’ve found a new temporary home in The Mergatoid, my favourite building in the city (as it’s also the home of Kickstand.) Not all has gone well lately, though. A few weeks ago my Etsy account was suspended due to a small tax-regulation mix-up. It brought out a lot of my frustrations with Etsy, which you can read here, here, and here. There’s more to share, so stay tuned.
No, it hasn’t all gone well lately, but let’s focus on the good. I’m excited to offer some new rings, and there will be more to come. I’m also looking forward to taking a few days off for the holidays, I’m sure many of you are as well. I’ll be back in the studio and ready for visits as of January 4th, but in the meantime I’d like to wish everyone a happy holiday season and new year. Stay safe.
